We're not going to land on the moon in 2027.. NASA is always 5+ years behind and billions over budget.
But yeah, people won't believe it. Esp if it happens on a SpaceX rocket, since now half the country has been conditioned to hate Elon. So this time the conspiracy theorists will be on the left. :-)

I'd love to see a moon landing. It would be cool to try and see it on a telescope so long as they do it on the side facing us.

How will we know that the 2027 moon landing is real? Are we just taking their word for it? Seems to me they'd have to do it in plain sight for it to be credible.
You’re right, we can never prove it. Budgets don’t exist. People don’t get employed on projects. Rockets don’t fly. We don’t have video feed technology. And it’s all gonna be faked with AI anyway. And any lunar samples we gather (again) will be fake, fairly safeguarded at fake laboratories generating fake understanding of fake space. In fact, this reality is a fake fabrication of the actual universal substrate.
None of that proves a moon landing. With a govt that lies all the time about everything the only thing that is legitimate is multi-source real-time video evidence. Otherwise it's just money laundering.
