Such surprise, much wow

sustaining vs disruptive innovation in a nutshell

Openai was never open

OpenAI went from ā€œnon profit initiative to give everyone access to AIā€ to ā€œfor profit subsidiary of a non profit that sold out to corporate interestsā€ so quickly

Who would’ve thought?

Brain Armstrong

Everyone 🤪

I am surprised about that

I guess someone in accounting figured out that you need money to continue paying your employees.

It's not charging for the API that I have a problem with, like you said these things cost money to run/develop. It's allowing outside companies to buy equity in OpenAI by creating a for-profit company under the non-profit parent company. That move basically made the "independent non-profit" label of the parent company meaningless and frankly, bullshit.

It was inevitable imo and I’m sure they knew that. It makes you wonder why they pretended to be ā€œopenā€ at first.

I knew that was coming

Very true. Nearly all AI systems use the public to collect information & then sell out.

Think the company/people did, not the AI 🫣

That’s what I meant.

Also, no offense, but big DUH lol

Banks own your money for you. Now AI knows all the things for you. And then, AI will create for you. So... what is left to do?

If you don't create, then what is the point of living?

Me: What is Taylorism?

ChatGPT:

The way I know nothing about this company. Is it important for me to know who they are?

šŸ˜€

A close contact working at a large company once mentioned that she preferred not to work with the HBS, Bain, McKinsey crowd because they’ve never lost or been punched in the mouth.

ffs

I would be happy to provide any additional information or clarification as needed.

🤣!

Lolz

There is no greater organization that understands "social responsibility" than a management consultant šŸ˜‚, fresh from off-shoring US jobs and giving cover for firing half your team.
