The answer to the "What are we going to do if AI takes over our jobs? People will just do drugs all day." comment is to gradually reduce everybody's work hours until we hit the inevitable zero.

So a job. I define work differently, working out for instance or working towards your goals, or working things out with a friend. Work is good.

Sure, but then work encompasses any human activity. Everything is work. Cooking is work, resting is work (rest is a goal), living a happy life is work, etc.

Then I agree.

Jobs with wages will trend towards zero.

I see entrepreneurial activity up though. Hard workers will not work less, they'll just be orders of magnitude more productive.
