Is that an Italian honey fig?

No, i planted two trees, one was a brown turkey. But cant remember which one this is. Honey fig does not sound familiar.

Maybe Celeste. You should try the honey fig out, it fruits twice

Ours are all still green. I'm so excited. This will be the first year we've gotten enough to actually have a harvest. The birds and squirrels usually get them before we do because there aren't many. The tree is only about 4 years old.

I planted this one last year, so feeling lucky.

Fresh figs are amazing!

Same for us! this is the first year our fig is producing fruit and I'm really excited about it.

Interestingly, the last winter is also the first one where I didn't cover it. So it either _liked_ that, or it hated it and this fruit-bearing is a last-ditch effort to seed before it dies lol

Enjoy them๐Ÿ˜Š

same to you!

The best. I have the good fortune to having access to a family one. Itโ€™s such a treat when it comes time to pick.

I just harvested my first fig yesterday! It was the only one on the whole tree to ripen this early, so I don't know what's up with that. All the others are still quite green.

Oh nice! My tree is loaded with them, and this is the first fig thats turning color.
