I wholly agree with you here. As I do not consider modesty a virtue, but rather things be examined and understood **exactly** as they are, I see nothing wrong with highlighting your standout assertions.

In fact it plays to one of the most critical implications of the very point that has been made. If respect is a ready made good in itself to be afforded to everyone, then self-respect is not to be held in suspicion or reproach, but rather cherished and readily called upon! Anything contrary to this would be a sin to the accurate, rational mind!
