that's true. I do have a lot of soil outside from my previous years gardening attempts 😅

You could try to take cuttings and root them. I started doing that last year and was surprised how easily some things root. I am now over planting tomato seeds in my starting pots. I keep the best one then cut the rest and put them in water. I'll direct plant them when they are nicely rooted. The cuttings are a bit behind, but I get more out of my space in seed trays this way.
