Metamorphosis an arduous process.
At a cellular level there’s tension between caterpillar cells and those morphing into butterfly cells so be gentle with yourself.
The pain, disorientation, etc is more than worthwhile to be beautifully, truly, wild 🦋 
I love this. This reminded me of sth similar I heard yesterday. If you open a chrysalis, you will not see half caterpillar, and half butterfly, you would see a dna soup, the not yet become. The being in the process can feel uncomfortable because is the not yet. So therefore the need to be gentle with ourselves.
