this is precisely what I'm interested in!

I found myself at the grocery store the other day with a cart full of stuff and realizing I forgot my wallet at home. Back when I had iOS this was a non-event with Apple Pay.

Now I'm standing there with a GrapheneOS phone in my pocket and a handful of apps that deal with the most advanced money the world has ever seen and I can't use the device to buy a sweet potato at a checkout lane 😮‍💨

Best solution to that problem today is a bitcoin for gift cards service. Bitcoin Company will give instant digital gift cards including generic Visa cards if your grocery chain isn't an option.

Although it took me this long to think of it so I probably would have left empty handed too.

oh I didn't leave empty handed, ultimately.

like a maniac, I hid my cart somewhere and drove 30 minutes round trip to get my wallet. the cart was still there and I reclaimed it and proceeded along, laughing to myself!
