You're a man. Stop telling people what you're going through. No matter how stressful it is. Solve your problems alone. Sympathy is only for women and kids, not for men.

A man who does not have the courage to seek out answers that are outside of his current capabilities. Will always be limited by a singular perspective. Seeking out wisdom through advice from others, or expressing your life experiences is not trying to get sympathy. It is having the wisdom to realize that sometimes in order to grow. Learning from new teachers is required in order to self educate yourself.
Unless you are weak of mind and constantly craving attention in your heart. This perspective you are proposing will always limit your abilities. For if you chip away at its shallow false righteousness until you reach the core. You will discover insecurities within yourself beyond measure. Do your best to change your perspectives. Only then you will become your true self.
