I installed nostr:nprofile1qqs9g69ua6m5ec6ukstnmnyewj7a4j0gjjn5hu75f7w23d64gczunmgpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumt0wd68ytnsw43q4gnztg on an old Pixel 4a that was unusable with its stock system due to excessive battery consumption after the latest update.
It was an interesting experience, everything went smoothly without any problems.
Now we'll have to see if the battery lasts a little longer. 🤞

No, Pixel 4a is no longer supported, but that's not a problem. It won't be my main smartphone; I just did it to see if the battery problem is software or hardware related.

Pixel 4a was launched in August 2020 with 3 years of vendor support. It was end-of-life prior to Android 14 and we provided extended support past end-of-life via a legacy branch based on Android 13. It's now almost 2 years after it stopped receiving driver and firmware patches. Not safe to use anymore.
