Why run? Strut.
I strut all day on my walking treadmill but I need to get my heart moving too
Vivo Barefoot -- takes a couple weeks to get used to, but minimal padding, lots of space. Have had them for a year. Feel like it’s repairing bad habits.

They are very! I have 3 pairs, cloth casual, waterproof leather for service industry work, & boots for winter. All three are mad comfy and have a very high quality. Initially when I first got my one pair, I was exploring how barefoot shoes felt on my feet, learned that I loved them and over the past few months got the other pairs. It’s been great for my posture and made my low back pain disappear.

Goto two competing running stores. Have both fit test you. Try their promoted brands. Find the one that feels right.
Personally, I like Asics. I like their arch support, areas of snugness, ample toebox, and protection.
But not everyones foot is the same. Brands can be very different for same size. Nike tends to run narrow. Hoka tends to be super soft. Altras are better in dryer climates

Had good luck and great comfort with their running shoes despite 10+ long distance events and trail runs ive put them through
Just bought these and they're already destroyed, they are nice and light tho just not very robust
