The urge to spend a lot of sats on a new guitar is getting reeeeal strong.

Why shouldn’t I spend lavishly on one of my passions?

worth it

Agreed

You should.

But you should also appreciate that bitcoin makes you check yo' self before you reck yo' self.

Always be mindful about what you are spending on.

Yah this 💯

Every big purchase now takes a few sleeps and a lot of “fuuuuack thays a lot of sats!”

What if you traded in one you have? I mean can't play 2 at the same time

If the merchant receives #bitcoin you promote a circular #btc economy - definitely buy the guitar!

He said he’d accept some btc for the guitar 💪

Have to do a few calls and walkthroughs with him though damnit. Proof of work!

Sounds good to me - I bought a bit of gold(coin) because a good friend of mine wanted to get into #bitcoin after many hours of orange pilling!

He even bought a Ledger so I sent the #btc directly onchain and he now kwons all about #private #keys.

Aweosme. Shame about the ledger though 😂

I’m being cheeky I just really dislike ledger!

But does he know that he's getting ripped off for artificially inflated #Bitcoin transaction #fees because of so-called #ordinals etc..😐

So the question is how can you make this guitar pay for itself? Ask yourself that question for the next week. Ask that question when you wake up, set a timer mid day and when it goes off do it again, then ask it right when you go to bed.

One week from now, tell us what happened. Don't worry if you have no idea what the answer is, don't ask anyone for ideas, just ask yourself that one question. No matter how stupid it is, any thought that comes to mind write it down. Watch it all change.

I don’t like the financialisation of everything. The guitar will pay for itself through my joy and passion for music 😊

Gibson rug-paul 🤘

Bitcoin is the *only* reason I have some really nice guitars these days. My gf says ‘too many’ LOL.

Post a pic and tag it with # axesofnostr

Spent what could be destined for sats on a used 2012 Mac mini…. When I already had a used 2012 Mac mini. Arguably didn’t need it, but I wanted 4 cores and 16 gigs of RAM instead of 2 and 8 for my Start9 node. But I’ll sell the old one and do a little house cleaning while perhaps selling a couple other things no longer in use and I think it’s justified.

Is it a Fender Satocaster?

What's wrong with the old one

It’s not electro-acoustic

You should definitely do it. Balance is the key.

Just go ahead, life is short

Thank you!
