Per primal, Nostr has 565,000 users. I think we had like 535,000 in April. It seems we had a big migration and we’ve plateau’d (if I’m wrong on this correct me).

Either way I feel like the only way to #GrowNostr is to expand beyond the realm of Bitcoin. Obviously there’s more to it than just posting different content, but I feel as though we’re actually reducing ourselves by making this a “bitcoin platform” when in actuality it’s a freedom platform. Idk. Just my two cents.

It’s still new.

People who value privacy and freedom will find #nostr eventually. As for those who don’t value these things, I don’t care what they do. If they do come to #nostr, they would probably just make it as annoying as all the other legacy social media platforms.

Personally, I’m going to enjoy #nostr “as is” for as long as I can.

#grownostr

it's a slow process if you want organic growth, which i think is best for nostr. the next adoption wave will either be another censorship/governance misstep of the current incumbents or a project doing the "other stuff" we haven't thought of doing yet.

it shouldn't be difficult for people to understand the value prop of sharing content on another platform without having to rebuild your social graph each time. the problem is building that social graph the first time on nostr.
