It’s a fast culture especially when you’re feeding it pasteurized lactose water. I ended up giving grains away cause they multiply so fast and I don’t drink it enough. Never cultured raw milk, which might slow it down and probably would be a better end result.
Sure there will be someone here that can sell you some kefir grains for sats. I would but I am in the wrong continent 😉
I'm getting some off Etsy right now. I've been making it with the powder grains, just splitting containers over and over. Just found out why everyone uses the clumpy grains lol. Definitely addicted to the stuff though. Even got other family members drinking it now lol.
Never heard of the powder form. Grains are easy and multiply so you can sell/gift them to others too which can act as a good insurance policy in case something goes wrong with yours.... Would be happy to send anyone on nostr some but most of you are in the wrong the continent.
It's labs and yeast so make use of in your gardens too.
