"Separating money from State.."
They are doing it wrong at Nashville.. but who am I to tell that?

'The state' is coming to Bitcoin though. Let there be a peaceful coexistence and transition into the Bitcoin standard, instead of bans and restrictions.
Sorry Rico, but I do think it's naive to think Politicians do care about what will be written behind their back, they care about being on a stage, and having a crowd to sell their speech and promises.
The Bitcoin standard IMO will be achieved by many type of adoption and transitions, but I do believe the more organic and successful way is the bottom up, where institutions can't do anything more than just accept the new system adopted gradually by the mass, or because they killed themselves with their own rotten one because none is more listening to them, not giving them the trust they need to exist.. giving them a stage is wrong IMHO.
INSTEAD POLITICIANS SHOULD GIVE PERIODICALLY A STAGE AT THE CONGRESS AND AT THE SENATE TO SOME BITCOINERS, SO THAT THEY COULD EXPLAIN WHY BITCON EXISTED, AND HOW SCAM THE FIAT SYSTEM IS. (speaking clearly, not shouting 🫂)
I just got an idea..

I fully agree. I'm saying that for as long as there is a window for peaceful coexistence, before Bitcoin swallows the system, let there be peace. The longer the govs of the world wait with their initiative to ban and restrict Bitcoin, the more unlikely their successes will be. If they, the politicians and their stooges, entangle themselves in Bitcoin's web right now, they will only fight over coins and dominance but not Bitcoin itself.
Ok, I see your point now, thanks for explaining further.. yes I do agree with you, more time passes, the higher the hashrate and the less the probability of them hurting the protocol itself.. 💜🤙🍀🔥🫂
Hashrate be damned if the ISPs receive order to cut every connection that syncs a node. It's a game of whack a mole but trivial to implement. We won't be syncing over Tor, that's for sure.
If the goal was to cripple the network, this is the simple stupid solution. The Lightning Network is almost completely custodial, it disappears instantly when AWS, Google, Hetzner, Alibaba shut down the accounts that run nodes.
This is always on the table, better let the greedy bastards who are on postions to give these kinds of orders play the stacking game.
We are in the peaceful coexistence phase at present.
Peaceful only because they still didn't get the shit their are in, and how #bitcoin could be the real alternative for the ones who understands it.
Bitcoin didn't get killed because they never give credit to it until "now", they missed the population to kill it, they are understanding just now that maybe the alternative is exploit people who use it to impose regulations and similar while they promise innovation and coexistence.. IMHO.
