If you support the warhawks (in any war), or you supported the covid authoritarians, or you want to censor "misinformation" (or "hatespeech" 🙄) or bailout banks or subsidize any corporation of any kind then you have positioned yourself in a way that is entirely opposed to core western values & everything that made the west great. Are you going to go down chasing status among the morally bankrupt "intellectuals" or are you focused on the next phase of freedom & human progress?

I think that is oversimplifying things. Stopping Russian aggression in Europe is pro-freedom. (And don't give me any nutty things about NATO aggression.)

But since supporting a sovereign nations self-defence can hardly be called hawkish, maybe that is not what you had in mind?

I think being involved in any military alliance at all, trying to expand it, & sending money & weapons halfway around the world is completely opposed to the ideas on which the US was founded.
