This thing can be dangerous. Usually it uploads images to nostr.build but there is no guarantee that it will always be like that. Not all clients implement image proxy.

No, not because of them. Although they're certainly not as safe as they look either. Nostr focuses too much on bitcoins, and when it comes to money it's a mistake to think that everyone is your friend, unless you're trying to gain trust and sell something. Like streams, or a podcast.
Nostr is also vulnerable to government propaganda groups. This can literally be either a network of AI accounts or real people with an audience they gather by handing out sats.
