Sitting here in the silence, drinking french press coffee, with water heated on the wood stove, seeing glimpses in my mind of ramifications of a currency which transcends borders and governments, with a value which is not measured against fiat as a reference.

And its occuring to me just what an enormous radical threat that is to global financial system which exists today.

Imagine peoples labor and products being valued by what it is worth to people, using a layer 1, global free market valuation, and not filtered through layers of nationalistic central bank corruption, political bribery, and military strength.

It hard to even fathom...

Imagine an uber replacement using nostr relays and lightning.

Or a decentralized, free market, reputation based shipping system that operates like door dash. Independent truck owner operators could do bulk pulls across regions, and local delivery could be... well, local.

All of these things, and millions more are possible with a free internet, and a free money layer.

Its helping me understand what BackTheBunny meant when he said, "4th industrial revolution technology is inherently political." Because it goes either in the direction of greater centralization and oppression, or greater decentralization and individual empowerment.

Experiencing a level up of my awareness of the significance of the time we are living through, and the importance of freedom tech.
