Know how people be saying that some women are "run-through" because they've been maltreated by so many men?

Some men seem run-through, too.

...or they just watched too many bad movies and remembered that one sentence and threw it at you, just to sound cool...

(btw they use that same sentence over and over again in all kinds of situations and it's so annoying)

Yeah can't see any reason why this can't be equivalent. Short of the idea that men are supposed to be "emotionally stronger or more stable".

Men are just more alone and lonely, far as I can tell.

Probably need more communes, like monastic life.
