Pissing match arguments are so tiresome, even more so among strangers on the internet. Mute and move on. It's not worth the time. There are more important things happening today in your life than needing to feel you have one-upped someone you don't even know in an argument that has no bearing on anything.

When you mute the noise, the signal seems louder. It's not, but it's easier to find & tune in to.

If the muted person happens to create something worthwhile, it will get amplified. More often than not that amplified signal is just others highlighting how bad their take is.
