I don’t like that it uses NIP-05 and told nostr:npub1xvtwx6tduaxnn9v3y7uasskl277achgu0tu2qncmc7hdsz6y2zyqce64sa that a few days ago. Otherwise, seems like a promising direction. Rather than Tor nodes or web nodes.

It looks like you can fetch the offer code from NIP-01 or NIP-05 https://github.com/shocknet/CLINK/blob/main/specs/clink-offers.md#integration-with-nostr .
Could also use BIP-353 dns text records, but NIP-05 has more traction currently.
