when you think about who Jesus chose for his crew, it makes you wonder just how good at showing people how to get along was he?

choosing a corrupt tax collector who worked for a foriegn empire, and a Zealot to be on the same team? That would be like putting a corrupt IRS agent and a 3% militia man on the same team.

Let’s be reasonable.

I don't know if it makes it a harder or easier thing to pull off, but it's likely the disciples were teens because when Peter is asked if Jesus pays the temple tax, Jesus provides the coins for himself and Peter, but no other disciples; the temple tax was for those over a certain age (20 is sticking in my head).
