Violence sometimes is the answer. But the overwhelming majority of violence is wrong. And most of the good people out there are incapable of right violence.

violance shall NOT be the answer. otherwise, the question is wrong.
violance shall only be a response; indeed, only a rare one and when extremely cornered and fear of ones life.
So what you are saying is that violence is sometimes the answer. One can’t merely exclude questions like “how do I not die now?” or “how do I save that person?” by fanciful thinking. Violence is the answer to such questions.
It is also wishful thinking to believe that governments don’t require the very real potential of forceful rejection of its power over the governed. History teaches us this is folly.
There is a mini-Hitler in the heart of everyone. The mask nazis of the pandemic were just a hint of what evil the average man is capable of.
i think there is a misunderstanding. maybe translation error, but for me:
answer implys a question; and both imply a civilized behavior. under such condition violance is by definition wrong. when there 'is time', we should do everything possible to solve conflicts non-violently, which still means that we have to 'fight' for our 'god given rights'.
however, violance is justified in a matter of 'response' when someone takes your natural rights away. hence, 'no time' for a question or answer.
hope this was more clear now, and that we can resonate ;-)
I think we are resonating. We live in a world where violence is always portrayed in the negative sense…but the truth is that the societies we live in were built upon just/proper violence…and with such violence we will prevent the fall of our societies back to the natural, uncivilized state of man where life is hard, brutal, and short.
Violence is like a gun: neither inherently good or bad. Violence and firearms can be used for good or for bad.
