Replying to nOSStr

As the community here grows, I'm wondering if we'll even need Meetup app in the future? It gives me creeps, tbh.

What is the biggest obstacle in using Nostr to organize and coordinate meetups? Adoption?

Also the built-up communities. I organize the Zurich Ruby meetup. The group has 700 members which subscribed over the last 13 years. I‘ll not easily give up that reach.
