I can buy any brand of card (even Piatnik), most often I take Bee, but never Bicycle. It's all about the ace of spades, of course. Yes, there are editions of Bicycle where the ace of spades has a different design, but that doesn't help. Not that I'm blaming anyone, it's just that images of murdered Vietnamese immediately come to mind.

The ace of spades isn't the only thing that brings up bad thoughts. You can't watch a Richard Gere movie and not think about gerbils or hamsters.
