True but there are tools that can help reduce the risks. If these become more widely known that could help.

It's a shame we never notice these issues until it affects people we care about. Many people thought just stop oil was a nuisance and never said anything, and thereby set this precedent.
If we really want free speech we have to speak up the first time it's restricted; and not first time it offends our sensibilities.
We also failed to say anything when pro Palestinian protesters were evicted from US campuses. We can do that. We have to speak up for everyone equally.
