Spent half the day exploring & de-Amazon’d my old #Kindle into giving me both a mobile Linux desktop environment and full control of my ebook reader application using KOReader.
INSANE (!!!) how much I can do with my locally hosted Calibre now that I don’t have Amazon’s restrictions; it’s what it should’ve been from the beginning: a very powerful and customizable FOSS e-ink ebook reader.
