I don’t know, how true is it for nostr? I know many are hunting for zaps/sats, and probably a lot of content is optimized for that too. It’s hard for me to tell, but I am sure that this is not far from the truth. Platform/protocol is definitely not optimized for monetization, but content may as well be. i don't mind this, i guess that's how value4value works ... while outside of #nostr it is just about milking people.

That’s is true, to an extent. I’d rather be milked for sats than my private and time. I guess we just have to chose a lesser evil! 🐶🐾🫡
