Interesting thoughts. When we believe in everything that is handed down to us we become prisoners to our traditions. With that being said, I don’t want to live in a would that discards the ideas and beliefs of my ancestors. I guess the lesson here is to reflect on your traditions and be open to change and the traditions of others.
This was more relevant pre internet.
There was a time when most were illiterate and only source of knowledge was from your direct social group.
Now you can draw on literal global knowledge.
This stance is for the lazy and unexamined.
Also, you couldn't get criticized so easily by random people in Bangladesh.
