I’ve been in the crypto space for over half a decade now & I know the marketing playbook for shitcoins. Let me point out some of the differences between shitcoiners & scammers, and bitcoiners.

• Shitcoiners focus on price action

A shitcoiner, especially scammers, focus all their attention on exactly how much money you will make “if only you bought their shitcoin”

So you will often see them talk about how much their coin will be ‘worth’ if X% of Y market buys their coin.

• Affinity marketing. They hang off the success of ₿TC to push their poison. So they will drop certain posts, Infograph’s and such pointing out what would happen “if only X amount of #BTC’s ‘market cap’ would flow into their shitcoin” hoping you would think it be the next BTC

• No real mention of focus in exactly how their shitcoin is in any way superior to #btc or superior to anything really. That’s bcoz the ultimate low level goal of their shitcoin is to simply get more fiat, & ‘maybe’ more #btc. Whereas the goal of btc is to replace fiat

The simple cue for shitcoinery & antidote to their poison is to ignore their talk of price, & simply ask

“Why does anyone need your coin? What exactly do you do that Bitcoin does not?”

No doubt they will have an answer, but at least then you can analyse their claims.

So with Islamic coin, their ONLY claim over #BTC, is that it is “Islamic” 😂. Bcoz, for some unexplained reason, #BTC, as is, is not ‘Islamic’. So considering that #Bitcoin functions as “digital gold”, I guess they are low key suggesting their shitcoin is ‘more Islamic’ than gold

But even if we were to “steel man” their argument & ‘agree’ to their claim, ‘At what cost’ did they achieve this? What properties of #Bitcoin did they have to give up in order to get this #halal stamp? I’m pretty sure centralisation was at the front of the cue.

Let’s not even begin to talk about the “un-Islamic nature” of a pre-mine & imitating the Ribaa fiat system with PoS.

Anyway, rant over. I just had to get this off of my chest as it seems that a few “Islamic coin ambassadors” have begun ‘following’ my Twitter account. Don’t know why.
