It's quite interesting how all articles that I've seen around Threads talk about other alternatives to Twitter, such as Mastodon, Threads, Post, and others that I've never heard of before, yet never mention Nostr. We are truly the underdog in this fight for decentralization and censorship resistant social communication.

I was thinking that too. Either people don’t really want genuine decentralization or it’s not mentioned on purpose

I don't think they care. They want a DINO. We see this with Shitcoins.

Most don't care about dino as well, they want the govt to force the companies to make the platforms to act the way they like.

This is a better or more accurate description. It's all about fitting their narrative or world view. I like my various boxes. I can't fit inside just one.

I'd like an access to unfiltered stream of information. All the chaos of different (world) views, even the most outrageous ones. All the propaganda and antipropaganda. All the cults and extremists and also the moderates. Everything.

Then I'd like to have powerful tools to filter and discover.

Nostr is heading this way. The centralized platforms are not.
