Would be cool if there was a east way to make a trust bounty pool under a group trustees.

Something with a simple charter Ie “Cool shit for Nostr and related projects”

All BTC based, no bank account BS. Ideally flow through without time sucking paper work.

Just public bounties and public payments.

Any lawyers here?

Avery with The Zero Percent would be an excellent resource for this. Foreign trusts give yourself full control with no regulations.

I've actually been trying to push Bitcoiners toward foreign trusts because 144 of them can create a micro republic outside of government jurisdiction.

I don’t understand its implementation, but this looked interesting. https://nostrocket.org

Why need lawyers?

For the same reason we need politicians

Which reason is that?

This is awkward

no reason

it is a scam

government is a scam

Dear IRS: prove you are not scammer. Taxes to be held in escrow awaiting proof.

Oh good news… they have arranged government accommodations for me. 6 months, meal plan included, and therapist included.

Check that, misread, not therapist—instead a guy who goes buy “the rapist”. Growing concerns about rooming with him in government accommodations.

irs is an illegal terror organization

as is cia,fbi,homeland

Because business is a competition amongst criminal for the most part.

Not all, but most businesses are bad actors.

Lawyers are needed to act as your military force to battle the criminals.

You are your own lawyer in common law jurisdictions.

Why it should be done in a fiat law way?

Because meat bags go to fiat jails

Why do you want to enforce satoshi payments in the meat space? Why not enforce them in satoshi space?

Or I don't get your idea?

Isn't that a multisig?

Known entities will have tax or other compliance issues…

Then perhaps known entities shouldn't be trustees?

Yea maybe, but then you are beholden to the other signers, who may disappear for a variety of unrelated reasons, I need to be able to contribute and ghost.

I think in this case, a board of trustees using multisig is the best, where each is well known in the community but also pseudonymous (think Gigi).

In other cases, someone like jack might need a more corporate solution like a legal trust.

I think there's a shitcoin startup working on trust less bug bounty adjudication (eth based smart contract stuff).

I'm also designing a general purpose Bitcoin dispute resolution protocol that plugs into FediMint. https://github.com/fedimint/fedimint/discussions/1614. Bounties could be a good simple first use case.

I suppose a simple escrow system for bounties could be designed (maybe with FediMint, or dlc) that uses third party auditors to determine whether conditions of bounty are met and releases funds upon final determination.

No legal entity.

No no no.

That is not the way brah
