You also have to always be clear that it is certain power structures and groups that many psychologists say consist of 80% psychopaths that cause the most harm. The ordinary civilian, on both sides, is usually a normal, good person.

But on a serious note, I think this moment and the other moments of hostages being released, does draw a very real and non-comical reality. And that is…Jews and Muslims CAN actually live together once this is all over (and it WILL be over some day). I’m sure we all know that there is a problem of racism, Zionism, and oppression the lives we’ve not seen in our lifetimes, and due to that extreme levels of evil, it’s hard to image the two sides EVER reconciling. But if those who perpetrate this 75+ year oppression were brought to justice, the Palestinians allowed to live and return to their lands and equal rights given to all according to well known justice, it’s not impossible for things like the below joke to actually happen. One person, fighting for the freedom of his people, stumbles across someone who was brought to that region, not involved in the oppression, that is literally a Disney movie right there.
Conclusion, no, Muslims don’t want to wipe out Jews off the face of the earth, no, we dont want to rape and decapitate babies, we just want justice and to be free. As long as oppression remains, and is even supported, this conflict will never end, guaranteed.
