Bitcoin is not important because it makes you rich in fiat money, it is important because over time it dissolves the eons old human control structure, and keeps it from ever taking hold again...
But to your point, we all need to wake up and get off our asses to make that happen...

This argument has always been hard to parse. It's like if there was no such thing as solar power, all electricity was from thermal plants controlled locally, then one say an inventor said "I give you solar power, you don't need permission, it works everywhere on earth, we will now dissolve eons old human control structure..."
