Any politician who supported this is guilty of hate and ‘hate speech’ and should be held to the same standard.

The also flip the burden of proof. You have to prove the meme wasn't 'hateful' they don't have to prove that it is.

I see Sweden and the Nordics are missing on that list. Sweden introduced a hate-speech law in 1948, where you can get up to two years prison sentence if convicted.

The law is also called Lex Åberg after the swede Einar Åberg, which published and distributed pamphlets with criticism of Jews and Judaism globally.

His distribution of material led to a campaign from Jewish groups in the US to introduce previously mentioned laws and put significant pressure on the country at that time
