Novel prep has officially begun. Working draft title and plot laid out.

Took a long walk this morning and brainstormed the first chapter.

If you like Dave Eggers and DFW, you’ll probably like this. My natural style of writing and what I enjoy to read, and how best to tell this story (memoir with factionalized elements) is in the style of Eggers.

I’m excited and terrified. In addition to Egger, biggest inspos here are the tv show This is Us, my own life, spirituality, and becoming.

It’s a novel mainly about the fathers we survive, and the men we try to become.
