they probably also say: "I have nothing to hide, so why use encrypted offline chat at all" they also think the US Dollar is an asset class.

Most people don't have all that much to hide, they live their lives mostly by the book and find their joys where they can. Nostr is so far outside the mainstream I don't even think you can see the mainstream from here anymore.

1) We indeed have little to hide. In fact all the most trustworthy, honest people I know are like that.

Think about who needs super secret encrypted comms most. It's not the people acting in good faith. It's the deceiving liars caught up in vice and self worship.

2) We store treasures up in heaven. Focusing on assets in this life is ngmi.

3) I was just talking about the obvious nerdy UI, take it easy with the offenses.

LMAO, how can I offend you when you just confirmed exactly what I said? So you and your NPC pals are out here handing out your Socials, credit card numbers, and browser history too, huh?

Saying 'I have nothing to hide' is like saying 'I don’t need free speech because I have nothing to say.' Privacy isn't about secrecy, it’s about control.

In a world of surveillance capitalism, data leaks, and creeping authoritarianism, wanting encrypted comms and a locked-down network isn’t paranoia, it’s baseline awareness.

Crypto isn’t just about money anymore, it’s about sovereignty. Your home internet setup should be as armored as your wallet.

Stay ignorant, its a virtue nowadays.
