That is not normal weather. That is what I would say is modified weather designed to kill people. It is still sad regardless, though.
Just got word from my friend and he's in Chimney Rock which was hit the worst by far. He was waiting on an evacuation with his team.

There was this peculiar and somewhat unsettling sound emanating from the storm, like a siren noise that would intermittently fade in and out, and at random inconsistent intervals.
I've been through a fair share of hurricanes, but this one made the strangest noises!
