i like #nostr but some people way too preachy for my liking. the constant advertising of how great this place and bitcoin is.
shouldn’t you be doing that elsewhere? because obviously if you’re here, you like it here.

Not everyone knows all the good aspects. Not all the time one can hold the belief. Sometimes thoughts are forgotten or beliefs are lost. Repeating works and discussion of nostr and bitcoin is fine I think.

i see that and it’s fantastic. i think if this place wants to grow and expand, despite its roots in bitcoin, it cannot be the only thing that keeps it alive. some tho need to not constantly post like they’re bitcoin ad bots.

im pretty sure bitcoiners know this a major turnoff for regular normies new to #nostr and theyre doing it more to get more bitcoiners-only to join, i get it, its a free speech protocol, say what you want but could you just tone it down a little and maybe tech reviewers, famous youtubers, celebs would look this way and find out how awesome nostr is and we can get more people on here
