Why can I only ⚡️ people 1K sat? Is there a way to customize the amount? I'm using WoS, but I have others.

You can change that in Settings -> DEFAULT ZAP AMOUNT (Damus)

It depends on the receiver. Some have 1000 sats some allow any amount, some can attach a message

Not really. You can't stop someone from receiving a single sat payment.

Receiver needs to generate invoice. If they don't give you invoice for the amount you want you can't pay. Lightning cannot receive payment passively

It's not about the wallet you're using, it's all about the #nostr client.

If you are using Damus, change it in the settings.
