Freedom of travel is a pro. The con is maintenance, insurance cost, and gas prices.
I like being able to travel whenever I like.

I didn't own a car for years. I walked to work or bicycle to work. It sucked when it rained, and it rains alot here. I managed to save alot of of the gas and insurance I would have spent. I invested that money and 80% of my tips from work. I worked 5 jobs and slept 5 hours a day.
Now, I have a 2021 toyota tundra. More money than I can shake a stick at. If you are willing to sacrifice and suffer for a period of time, you can change your whole life.
