No matter how hard I try or how much I would like to be on X, I just can’t get into it.
I’ve been on this rollercoaster for months now. I have to force myself to go on the app.
And when I’m on X, I’m just scrolling. Mindlessly scrolling. Not doing anything productive. Not making connections. Just scrolling through a sea of shitposting.
The only conclusion I can come to with X is that I don’t want to be there anymore.
Anyone else feel the same?
Been off for a while. Once you get sober, it is like a mindless echo chamber when you return, and then you lose all interest in going back.
I’m approaching app deletion. It’s coming. I can feel it. Running out of reasons to keep it.

I do. I even paid for a year premium with the black friday deal. But I hardly log in any more. I am loving nostr so much more right now.
I too had X premium for a short time. I thought the blue check mark would change things for me but it didn’t so I cancelled it. Nostr is just so much better in every way. I love it here.
Agree. I won't be renewing anything with them. I try to log in x to get better news but like you said it's all just junk mostly. I hope nostr gets more news we can use and trust all over the world as we go along.
Agreed. One thing I will give X is the news coverage. It’s better than MSM easily.
Never got into it, just felt like I was late to the party at first so why bother? I figured it’d go the way of MySpace and go away.

I joined X to make connections with other Bitcoiners and grow a following. But the Bitcoiners I’ve seen there are just shitposting to get X monetized. Growing a following as a newbie on X is overly difficult almost as if the algo is against you and Bitcoin in general.
I’d go so far as to say the algo IS against you on X. Not in an ancient aliens way but if you’re not making superfluous statements about ridiculous crap then you’re not gonna make any money as far as I hear
