⚡️ DID YOU KNOW – You don’t need internet to use #Bitcoin

📱 SMS/USSD: Services like Machankura (Africa) let you send/receive sats on basic 2G phones — no app, no internet.

🛰️ Satellite networks: nostr:npub1jg552aulj07skd6e7y2hu0vl5g8nl5jvfw8jhn6jpjk0vjd0waksvl6n8n broadcasts the Bitcoin blockchain via satellite. Just a dish and you’re synced — no internet required.

📡 Mesh networks: Tools like goTenna or LoRa transmit Bitcoin txs over radio waves or mesh. Once a node connects, it relays the tx.

📵 Offline relays: You can sign a tx offline, save it (USB, QR), and broadcast it later through a connected node.

Bitcoin is more resilient than they want you to believe.

Cashu can help with it too

Ecash is by far the easiest way to use btc offline - either cashu or fedi

Also, Ark

It is, although in principle services like Star Link will become more and more affordable. I would imagine that absolutely everyone will have internet everywhere in the future.

And now ecash with Bitchat over Bluetooth mesh!
