Wonder why MSM is fudding apple. This function requires the user to enable Airdrop to “anyone for 10mins” and then once the phones are brought together you still have to select ‘share’ and a profile you created will be shared. Sure bad actors can get you to jump all those hoops so you can namedrop them your phone number and name, or they can just get you to unlock your phone and then steal it.
Yeah this is just pearl clutching for the sake of getting clicks and people upset - in other words just another day for the MSM. This is a nonissue.

Exactly - it's near field communication.
Someone has to physically touch your phone and you must confirm with a button. Good feature.
