The US government has you on a subscription service to drive your own car and to live in your own house. I don't want to hear " in the US we have freedom" out of you again silly little Statist.

Yep

Yep. These are things the "Founding" Generation never would have stood for:

Slavery has yet to be abolished:

> One pithy definition of a slave is: one who does not own the fruits of his own labor. That’s interesting to consider in light of the fact that, for a modern working person in America, “Tax Freedom Day” doesn’t come until about halfway through the year. For those first six months, folks work just to pay their total, annual tax bill. And, whenever they want to, their masters can raise that percentage as they see fit. By contrast, the total tax burden on the American colonies at the time the *Declaration of Independence* was signed was about 3%. Their “Tax Freedom Day” would be in the second week of January. And they went to war with the taxing authority.

Does anyone know when or how property taxes became a thing? I don't believe they paid them in early America. I'm pretty sure they were introduced sometime under the U.S. government.
