I actually don’t trust him at all. If elected he would likely quickly forget about #Bitcoin. I do think it’s good for adoption to have prominent figures endorse it. Recent experiences I’ve had talking to state representatives gives me hope that while the federal government is likely a lost cause, some states can become islands of freedom by adopting a Bitcoin standard and encouraging mining in their states.

Bitcoin as legal tender is likely to come on a state by state basis after everyone realizes that the Dollar is fucked. CBDC to the rescue, and it will be adopted by Democrat states while the Republican states legally block CBDCs and endorse Bitcoin. That's how I see that playing out.
I hope you’re right. I previously thought speaking to any politician was a waste of time. After getting to talk to some of them in Missouri, I was shocked at how little they knew about legislation they are considering that would impact miners and users of #Bitcoin. I have done a 180 and am now actively engaged in educating them and trying to help craft legislation that is Bitcoin only and provides protection to those who use it and mine it.
