One must be able to AFFORD to save in bitcoin.
This is why the best investment you can make is in your future self by spending the only thing more scarce and valuable than sats, your time, invested on making yourself useful to the marketplace. Consider what of our common needs you are uniquely capable of providing to your peers, then figure out a way to acquire the skills, tools, and materials necessary to deliver your unique value proposition to the world.
I speak from experience here, as I am in a similar boat, but, I have over 3 decades of time that I've invested into making myself one of the most useful humans on Earth. Now my task is to package and communicate the unique value my talents, knowledge, and extensive toolset allow me to deliver.
By the way, I have been 'houseless' for a large portion of the last 30+ years, have spent more time with a net worth as measured in money of any kind at zero, and am almost completely self-taught in all of the half-dozen or so ways I have of earning a 6 figure annual income as an independent contractor. I have not been an employee anywhere since a part-time guy working mostly for flight benefits about 27 yrs ago.

Man you did what others are too afraid of. Plus this is important to have housing. Much more important than owning 1 sat.
It happens, I had to sell more than I ever wanted to when I was off of work recovering from surgery… dwelling on it won’t help though. Everyone has value, you just have to figure out what yours is and exploit it… what do you like to do and how can you monetize it? What are you good at, and don’t say nothing, but figure out how to monetize it. And if all else fails, any job makes more money than no job. I don’t particularly like my fiat job, but I make enough fiat to allow my wife to stay home with 4 kids and that is the most important thing for me. I’d love to stay home with them and work from home, but I have not been able to get any of my side hustles to pay off for that… I also don’t stop trying, but I’ll keep working my current career till either I don’t have to… or my body can’t. Staying positive is the most important though and btc is still so new and so cheap that you can still get back to infesting for your future once you get back on your feet.
