1965 Coleman 220F lantern restoration. 58yrs old and it’ll burn like it was new with a little love. This specific lantern has hung outside of a cabin for the last 30yrs unused. I’ve been aware of it since I was a kid and finally decided to make it burn again.

Old technology for the win. This Western Electric 302 sat unused in someone’s closet for decades. All metal version before they changed to thermoplastic when WWII started. The internal components are all date coded and original. I dusted it off, plugged it in and got a dial tone.

That’s brilliant! Older tech is tech that will last. Repairable and dependable.
