Such bullshit in Romania...

Bitcoin I can't use for payments, usdt I can't use, if I need to exchange from Bitcoin, and I have to exchange to USDC, from usdt to USDC, in this process I'm continuesly losing money, after this it comes the problem with exchanges, I can't use only specific exchanges, so I have to move money where I'm accepted, again losing, after that the fees for fiat transfer to card

Fucking crazy πŸ€―πŸ‘€πŸ€―πŸ‘€πŸ€―πŸ‘€πŸ€―

You keep using that word, "can't." I do not think it means what you think it means.

I'm angry that I can't use my money, and you come to theorize that I don't know Oxford English. You should be ashamed of yourself for not thinking further and for not understanding that not everyone speaks English. If you kept quiet, you would remain a philosopher.

I was only trying to point out the difference between "can't" and "not allowed to" using a common Princess Bride meme format. Your English is just fine. You can use Bitcoin without permission from anyone. That's the beauty of it. 🀝

The possible problems and hussles with exchanging to fiat and peer to peer can be real and can come with delay in time...I get the frustration. In some countries it can be a problem I think.

This is why we peer to peer.

Is that Bitrefill?

Binance, kraken, I didn't try kucoin, I was using Binance, and now I need a SEPA account in $ or Euro, I was exchanging directly RON in Binance and withdrawing to card, now RON was removed, to change Euro/$ to RON at my bank, those are other fees...

To use Bit refill is not a good choice, when I need to use small amounts of money, for example 1 bread and 1 liter of milk, this are less than 3 Euro, with bit refill I'm forced to spend 10 Euro at least.

Ah, they got rid of the RON exchange. Sucks.

For me now Bitcoin it's almost useless...

I'm only losing money... πŸ˜”πŸ˜ž

Can't really spend it in significant amounts, in Germany. It's tax-free, but only if you hodl it and/or spend under a certain amount every year.

The easiest way is certainly nostr:npub1m7r9aayrqjtt2q0whkyrwlys75s5d828c5uewvqwyfd2kxefkfjqgeny2w. You can spend on groceries, furniture, entertainment, clothing and amazon in Romania πŸ‡·πŸ‡΄.

isn't Strike available in Romania?

It is, but same thing, if I need money fast, it's impossible, it may take up to 2 days to get them, and losing money with fees for transfer to bank, and other stuff.

My best option was to change them on exchanges, now everything it's gone...

They cannot control BTC itself so they control the ecosystem arount it: Exchanges, conversions and FIAT audits. We need a bitcoin circular economy.

check freedomia! is like a non kyc e-credit card that you put btc on it and it converts to euros. then you can spend it on nfc capable machines like commerces, on internet purchases and even taking cash on a ATM.

Freedomia has a monthly subscription to use their services is it? It's not a one time flat rate thing? Plus, they charge 4.3% onwards for topups + network congestion + gas? ~ LG

it's 60 euro/year. Founder's plan for life. I think later they will rise prices.

Thanks πŸ™, I found the solution, I have just posted it ☺️

Yeah, that’s the hidden tax most people don’t see. Not volatility.. friction. Death by a thousand middlemen.
