I haven't used those Bitcoin ATMs yet. Need to do that just for the experience. I assumed it was just a matter of picking one and feeding money into it.

You do need to input a phone number into all of them so depending on the level of privacy you want, you may want a burner phone. It sends you back a code you input into the atm and then you feed the money in. If you don’t care about kyc, I see zero advantage to using them.
